Spring Break is just about a month away, which means depending on their school, they could be home for one or two weeks. Have you made plans? Colorado has plenty of options for Spring Break fun.

Colorado Spring Break Activity #1: Go Skiing

The obvious choice here for your Colorado spring break is skiing. If your kids have a ski pass, it is relatively affordable to sneak up for a day or two for some great Colorado skiing over spring break. If your passes are blacked out, take the opportunity to drive to a different mountain farther away.

Colorado Spring Break Activity #2: Visit a Museum

If your family doesn’t ski or if you’re just looking for a full-day activity, then your Colorado spring break should include a trip to one of the many museums Denver has to offer. There’s something for kids of every age. For younger kids, The Denver Children’s Museum is full of adventure. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science has various options for spring break; from day activities to several Spring Break Camps, it is a great way for kids to get out of the house while having fun and learning. Another incredible museum to check out is The Wings Over The Rockies Air & Space Museum. It is an affordable option for your children to explore the wonders of air and space.

Colorado Spring Break Activity #3: Explore the Zoos

the weather warms up and the snow stays in the mountains, spring break is a great week to make a trip to the Denver Zoo. If you want to make a full-day trip, you could take a drive to Colorado Springs and visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (my kids love this zoo). They are offering day camps throughout spring break this year.
