Castle Rock again ranks among country’s best places to live

A Web site that caters to those making moves recently affirmed what Castle Rock residents already know – that the Town is among the best places to live in the entire country.

RelocateAmerica.com this week released its Top 100 Places to Live, and Castle Rock made the list from among the more than 1,800 cities and towns nominated by site visitors.

The site’s team reviewed data on factors including the local economy, housing market, education, crime and parks and recreation when creating its 12^th-annual list.

“What the residents of Castle Rock already know – and again the rest of the nation is finding out – is what a wonderful place Castle Rock, Colo., is to live,” said Mayor Randy Reed. “This is a recognition of the residents of Castle Rock. The residents make this community one of the best places to live in the United States. Congratulations, Castle Rock.”

The accolade comes in addition to one the Town earned in 2007: being named one of the 10 Best Towns for Families by Family Circle magazine.
